Class Information

Schedule of Classes

Prices are for the local region, within
Binghamton and Vestal, NY, including
Friendsville and Montrose, PA. Please note
that outside the local area, additional fees
apply. Payment is due directly to me or my
assistant immediately upon arrival. No
checks or credit cards accepted for parties or
bellygrams.

Group lessons ~ $10 per class if paid
monthly, $12 walk-in.

Private lessons ~ $30

Semi-private lessons ~ $15 per student (up
to 4 students)

"Bellygrams" ~ $100 (about 10 minutes)

Showers (& women's parties) that include a
belly dance lesson ~ $125

All classes are 1 hr.
Personal checks are accepted, payable to:
J. H. Smart
Monthly payments are due before or on the
first class of the month. Sorry, refunds can
not be offered for missed classes, nor can
they be carried over to the next month.
Monthly payments may be pro-rated if you
know in advance that you will not be attending
on certain days.

Personal Training ~ $45 per 1 hr. session for
in-home training. Contact me for initial
consultation. $15 consultation fee.

Clothing recommendations for class:
Comfortable clothes that you would wear to
the gym or to dance class. Unitards, yoga
pants, choli top or sports bra and something
to tie around your hips (hip scarf, thin shawl
folded in half, or even fabric of some kind to
use as a temporary hip scarf.) No sneakers
for dance classes!

All classes require pre-registration and payments on a
monthly basis.
Classes will not be help without registering. If I don't know
that you are coming, I won't be there.
While I understand that emergencies happen, please give a
24 hr. cancellation notice if you are unable to attend class.

Sundays 1 PM - 2 PM Six week session in Middle Eastern
Bellydance at Broome Community College, beginning
September 19 to October 31, 2010. Call 607-778-5012 to
register.

Tuesdays 6 PM - 7 PM Montrose Area Adult School, 8 week
session beginning September 7, 2010 at Montrose Area
High School. Visit www.montroseadultschool.org to register.

Thursdays 6 PM -7 PM Egyptian Twist Studio of Bellydance,
Friendsville, PA (ONLY 15 MINUTES FROM VESTAL---email
for directions) levels 1 & 2 (beginner to intermediate)

Saturdays 10:30 AM - 11:30 Egyptian Twist Studio of
Bellydance, Friendsville, PA
Bellydancing with Zills (Finger Cymbals), beginner level
class focusing on basic rhythm and zill patterns to basic
movements. Contact Helena to register!

Saturdays 11:30 -12:30 Egyptian Twist Studio of
Bellydance, Friendsville, PA levels 1 & 2 (beginner to
intermediate)

As of October, 2010, Cabaret classes will be offered at
the Arts YOUniverse in Wilkes-Barre, PA on the first
Saturday of every month at 4:30 pm. Please contact
Helena for more details and to pre-register.
Pre-registration is required at least 48 hrs. in advance!

Egyptian Twist Studio of Bellydance is only 15 minutes
outside of Vestal, off of Rt. 26! Please contact Helena for
directions to the studio. Other arrangements can be made
over the winter during inclement weather.

In-home private lessons are available upon request.
Additional fees may apply for extra travel time if outside of
the local area.
