A note from the teacher: Bellydancing, just like any other dance
genre, requires a period of time for learning and practice. If you
have never set foot in a dance studio before, I recommend visiting
one of the local dance studios in the area to get a feel for what it is
like to take dance lessons.  As with any other genre, this dance
takes time to learn and master. It is not easy and  is not something
that you learn in a 6 week session. It is a teacher's responsibility to
teach, but it is the student's responsibility to learn.  Keys to
successful learning:  Know your goals and let your teacher know
what your goals are, take notes, be patient and understand the
difference between a teacher's and a student's responsibilities. If
your goal is to *master* the bellydance, then some ballet lessons
would be recommended to help fine tune grace and poise. Happy
Dancing!
