Two different styles with different music and loads of fun! Yaro will present a beautiful fan & skirt fusion dance and Helena will present an ATS style piece that focuses on some basic ATS moves and cues that allows for easy to follow improvisational performances as a group. May 21, 2011 Haifa and Helena will present a Sword Workshop! Learn the basic fundamentals of belly dancing using one of the most desired prop, from two of the local authorities of sword balancing. Find out the little nuances between American Cabaret & Tribal Fusion sword dancing. July 9, 2011 Helena presents WINGS of ISIS! Learn how to use your wings and fly with a short choreography that will dazzle your audience! Bring a friend to the Cabaret for a fun and exciting "twist" to your luncheon with the girls! Have fun with a mini bellydance lesson with Helena, followed by a luncheon special created by Vincent Majka. Learn about the myths and history of the bellydance along with some hips and twists to put together in a fun little dance number. Establishing a solid foundation to build off of is essential in anything, including dance. Improve technique and performance skills to help broaden your horizons in bellydance with this new and exciting workshop designed to help improve Middle Eastern Dance technique and learn the do's and dont's of performance. This workshop will cover technique in basic movements and answer individual questions to help each student improve in the areas they fell they need extra help with. This class will also cover how to build off of the basic moves to form other movements and cover a variety of basic lessons on the art of presenting a professional looking dance performance to your audience. There will be a question and answer segment and advice on makeup, hair and costuming for various venues! Educational and fun! This workshop will offer fun combinations for both Tribal and Cabaret bellydance, along with two mini choreography's in each style.
