All jewelry is made from recycled jewelry that was broken or someone wanted to throw away, along with lace, trim, beads
and, of course, feathers from Helena's feathered babies. Mink skulls were obtained from reliable sources. No animals were
killed for the purpose of making jewelry. These were already deceased animals and as I do not believe in wasting any
creatures, I try to put anything I can to good use. Rather than viewing it as morbid, I prefer to celebrate the life that these
creatures once had and see the beauty in what they have left behind. Feathers are obtained from my birds whenever they
molt. No birds were harmed to obtain their feathers. They do, however, give me funny looks whenever I pick up their
feathers as if I have found a treasure. Birds are well compensated in the form of treats, treats and, of course, treats.
